  2. Create an excellent, clear, and concise CV filled with relevant information on your education, training, and work experience to help you get a job interview.

  4. Don’t go into debt to buy clothes for work; it is not a good use of your new earnings.
  5. Get a list of websites you can use to search for a job.
  6. Talk to everyone you can, classmates, colleagues, friends, and neighbors about what job openings are available.
  7. Consider taking classes that advance your skills so you can be prepared for jobs requiring additional training or expertise.

  24. Careers and graduate fairs and presentations by industry professionals provide excellent opportunities to talk to people in career areas and learn about job openings.
  25. Get a volunteer position. Companies can see how you are working hard and are dedicated to working towards making them more profitable.
